Happy New Year! I hope the turn into 2026 is feeling spacious, steady, and full of possibility for you.
This time of year naturally invites reflection — what we’re carrying forward, and what feels ready to be released with care.
As I’ve been doing my own reflecting, one thing has become clear: it’s time to bring the Meaningful emails and the season of Shifting Success to a close.
This work has centered on one essential question: What makes the second half of our careers — and our lives — truly meaningful?
Across coaching conversations, workshops, and shared stories, one theme kept surfacing again and again: the willingness to change. Not impulsively. Not recklessly. But with curiosity, courage, and care.
The people who create meaningful second halves don’t wait for certainty. They experiment. They try things. They follow what feels alive... even when it’s uncomfortable or unclear.
That’s what most of 2025 was for me.
Shifting Success has been deeply meaningful — because of the clients, the conversations, and the honesty you brought into this space. I’m so grateful for that and, more importantly, for YOU! I’m also grateful for the flexibility this work gave me to support family, explore new ideas, and listen closely to what was asking for more attention.
Over the past nine months, one direction kept calling me back: communication as a pathway to meaning. Presence. Listening. Trust. The human side of leadership and work.
So I’m practicing what I’ve long encouraged others to do.
I’ve tested ideas. Paid attention to what energizes me. Noticed where my strengths, values, and curiosity consistently meet.
All of that points to closing this chapter and stepping fully into the next one.
Shifting Success is coming to a close.
